Work party

This weekend was our company holiday party! It was Western-themed, which was really fun. Since I was too shy to dress up on Halloween, I made sure to look my western-ist for the party. J wore jeans (for the first time I can remember). Aw yeah, livin' on the edge. I had such a good time.

Well, shucks.

I have to drink how many ounces of water???

Day three of Highly-Marketed-Mainstream-Diet-Plan. If anyone tries to convince me of the nutritional value of carrot sticks, I'm going to gag.

Personal Pep Talk

I'm feeling blue today. My solution is to distract myself as much as possible. Here are the things currently at the top of my "make me happy" list.

1. Amy Butler fabric

2. Sister

3. Completing projects
4. Conversations with MR or SJ or CO
5. My Kitties
6. Mochas

7. Pomegranate Juice perfume oil (seriously. You've got to try it).

8. Eucalyptus lotion

9. Inside jokes with my brothers
10. Sarah Groves (especially "You Cannot Lose My Love")

11. pay day (review items 1 & 6)

12. Coffee and book dates with J at Woods.

My first craft fair!

November 15, 2008: Sister-in-law and I had a table of our home-made crafts at the Lynden High School Art Department's craft fair. It was a long day without sky-rocket sales, but it was a good experience to learn the best way to price, display, and sell our handiwork. Plus, it motivated us to make a whole bunch of items (that we can now give as Christmas gifts!).

Our number one seller was Erin's magnets. There are a lot of stylish Fridge doors in Whatcom County this week!
