Day trip to Victoria

Saturday, September 6, 2008

J and I spent the day in Victoria, BC. We boarded the Victoria Star from the Bellingham Ferry Terminal at 9am. It took 3 hours to get to BC.

Once we arrived around noon, we did as much sight-seeing as we could squeeze in. We spent most of our time at the Maritime Museum of British Columbia. The weather was great and I wish we had more time to explore the city. We had to be back at the US Customs office by 4:30 for our return-trip. During all that time on the boat, we made progress on our books, I fit in a cat-nap or two, and we enjoyed a big salmon and chicken dinner provided by the Victoria-San Juan Cruise staff.

All for a discounted rate, thanks to our Smart Trip points!
